3.1 Indications for Use
The Portable Dental X-Ray (Model: CS 2400P) is indicated for use only by a trained and
qualified dentist or dental technician for both adult and pediatric subjects as an extraoral
diagnostic dental X-ray source to produce X-ray images using intraoral image receptors.
3.2 Principles of Operation
CS 2400P is an X-ray device capable of diagnosing anatomical oral structures.
The free electrons generated from the cathode in the X-ray tube are caused to generate
a high voltage between the cathode and the anode in the X-ray tube by using a high-
voltage generator, and the generated X-rays are irradiated to the teeth of the human
body
