6. Installation on Taps
& Faucets
Step 1 : Remove the existing
connector from the faucet/tap.
Attach the SIFT+ tap connector
(24mm or 28mm depending on your
tap type) in it’s place. You may
require the assistance of a plumber
if the existing connector is fixed
tightly.
Step 2 :
Ensure the washer is
inserted into the top connector
of SIFT+. Wrap the thread of the
tap connector and the bottom
connector of the shower filter with
Teflon tape to prevent leaks.
Step 3
:
Align the top connector
of SIFT+ with the tap connector &
rotate clockwise to tighten. Use a
spanner to tighten fully.
Step 4
:
Turn on the water and let
the water flow out for 3 minutes.
This will flush out harmless
discoloured water.
* SIFT+ will fit on all standard taps &
faucets with 24 mm & 28 mm aerators.
