2.9 Checking motor rotation
When starting the unit for the first time, check correct direction of motor
rotation to ensure production of pressurised water; if rotation is in the
opposite direction, no pressurised water will be produced. Check through
the hole on the elastic joint socket that the motor rotates in the direction
indicated by the arrow shown on the socket.

Note
: when the pump starts and during the transient when
opening step 2, until the pressure reaches around 2-3 bars, the
pump may sound noisy. This is completely normal for a rotary vane pump
and is not due to cavitation.e.
