COLLETS & NUTS
The collet must be attached to the collet nut
before it is put into the collet chuck. Be sure
that the size of the collet matches the size of
the bit shank being used. If the wrong size
bit shank is used, the collet may break. For
attaching or detaching the collet nut to the
collet, follow the illustrated instructions on
next pages.
ATTACHING COLLET
TO COLLET NUT:

This product includes a ¼” and ½” collet,
as shown in Fig. 3
Each Collet & Nut threads onto the collet
chuck with a standard right hand thread.
Do not tighten the Collet & Nut without
a bit inserted to avoid damage.
