Description.
The
WSD15IIDIST
is a datalogger with 4 channels to acquire biaxial inclination, absolute distance, or temperature (selectable during
installation) and relative distance with storage functionality of samples acquired.
2.
Inclinometer: operating logic.
a.
Measure.
The datalogger provides the roll and pitch values relating to the displacements suffered after installation and the relative zeroing of
the position and reports them in the channels CH1 and CH2 respectively. If the value exceeds the maximum and minimum
displacement range, the measurement is declared "invalid".
Normally these values are the result of a progressive average updated at each "
Threshold / Tracking time
", recorded and sent to the
gateway at each "
Measurement time
". For the average to be carried out correctly, the “
Follower
” function on the pitch and roll
channel (
active by default
) must be enabled. Otherwise, the average will be performed with the cadence of the "
Measurement
time
".
The setting of these times is configurable and modifiable through the
software or through the cloud.
b.
Measure thresholds.
Two thresholds can be set for each slope measurement channel: two thresholds for rolling and two thresholds for pitching.
The value of the measurement will be compared with the values of these thresholds with a time interval obtained from the
“
Threshold / Tracking time
” value.
c.
Value following
–
Step response.
At each “
Threshold / Tracking time
” the “
instantaneous value
” (
average of the acquired values in a window lasting 8 seconds
) will
be compared with the current measurement value.
If the difference is greater than the "
Delta Increment
" value or less than the "
Delta Decrement
" value, present in the settings, the
measurement is set equal to the "
instantaneous value
" and the average is reinitialized to that value.
This event will be notified with the recording and sending of the new measurement value.
