Chapter 5 Administrator Settings

Registering New Users

You can register new users.

IMPORTANT

• When an authentication server

(see p. 140)

is used, users that

are logged in from an authentication server account are
registered automatically.

• If an e-mail address is registered for the authentication server

account, the e-mail address is also registered automatically.

• If an e-mail address is not registered for the authentication

server account, the e-mail address is not registered. Register
an e-mail address by editing the user settings

(see p. 114)

Press [Edit] - [New User].

The New User screen appears.

Enter the necessary information for each item, and
then press [OK].

Hint

• When a user is registered, the display of the ScanFront

scanner changes from the Home screen to the Login screen.
