Cause

The toner cartridge of Y (Yellow), M
(Magenta), C (Cyan), or K (Black) has
reached the end of its life.

Remedy

Replace the toner cartridge of displayed
color with a new one.

Cause

Toner is solidified on the bottom of the toner
cartridge (a message is displayed
regardless of replacing a new toner
cartridge).

Remedy

Remove the replaced toner cartridge, hold
it with the tab facing down, shake it up and
down strongly again, evenly distribute the
toner inside the cartridge, and install it.
