3. Folding operation
• The folding position adjustment feed clutch (CL3) turns off and the folding position adjustment back clutch (CL4) turns
on.
• The Fold/Separation Solenoid (SOL3) turns off 150 ms after it turned on.
• The inlet motor 1 (M5) and inlet motor 2 (M12) start turning at a speed of 400 mm after elapsing by 150 ms since the
Fold/Separation Solenoid (SOL3) turned off.
• A loop is formed at the registration roller, starting the first fold operation.
• The release timing sensor (S31) turns off to deactivate the folding position adjustment back clutch (CL4).
• The leading edge of the first fold bumps against the leading edge stopper, starting the second fold operation.
• Flapper Solenoid (SOL4) turns on after Upper Stopper Paper Sensor (S33) turned off
