Purpose
Moves the scanner for-
ward about 70 mm from
the end of the image and
measures the document
density.
The scanning lamp illu-
minates original, and the
reflected optical image is
transmitted to photo-
sensitive drum through
mirrors and lens array.
The scanner is moved
back to HOME position
to prepare for the next
copy.
Ensures full discharge of
the last copy.
Waits until the COPY
START key is pressed.
From when the scanner
moves forward about 70
mm from the end of the
image until it returns to
its home position.
When the scanner is mov-
ing forward
• Travel distance changes
with copy paper size.
While the scanner is mov-
ing in reverse.
• The speed of the reverse
movement is 2.5 times
that of the forward
movement.
Until the main motor
stops after SCRV until
the last copy ends.
