5) Disconnect the nine cable [9] and the
two flexible cable [10]; then, remove
the eight screws [11], and detach the
reader controller PCB [12] in the direc-
tion of the arrow.

6) Remove the two screws [13], and dis-
connect the connector [14]; then, detach
the laser driver cooling fan [15] together
with its mounting base.

7) Remove the two screws [16], and detach
the laser driver cooling fan [15].
When mounting the laser driver
cooing fan, be sure that its ori-
entation is correct with refer-
ence to the direction of current
indicated on it.
