The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6200 Series devices offer the following
improvements and new features:
User-Centric Design and Performance Improvements
Customizable user interface
Improvements to keyboard use and login customization
The new “Quick Startup Mode”. allows for a shorter startup time of less
than 7 seconds from power-OFF, while maintaining standby power
consumption of less than 0.45 W
A high-speed CPU allows for improved PDL performance compared to
the predecessor models
Workflow Enhancements
The new Desktop Quick Printing Tool is a method to drag and drop
documents to quickly print, fax and create PDFs using standard and
customized document templates
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6200 Series feature as standard Scan to
Office Open XML (to .pptx file format only) and Searchable PDF (OCR)
New software solutions integrate the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6200
Series devices directly into mobile and cloud workflows
Security Enhancements
The HDD Erase function
is now available as a standard feature
The HDD Lock Function is a new standard feature that protects the data
stored in the HDD from being accessed by a PC after removal from the
device
The IPsec feature
is now available as a standard feature
Improved Device Management and Serviceability
The Device Firmware Update Plug-in with Local Content Delivery
System provides local firmware management, version management and
batch distribution of firmware on a local Intranet
The Migration tools USB memory media and Remote User Interface
(Remote UI) greatly simplifies fleet replacement and migration
