4. imagePRESS Security Kit-D1 for IEEE 2600 Common Criteria
Certification
The optional imagePRESS Security Kit-D1 certifies that the imagePRESS
Lite C170/C165 complies with IEEE standard 2600
. IEEE 2600 is a
standard to protect hardcopy devices in a commercial information-
processing environment where a moderate level of document security,
network security, and security assurance are required. The imagePRESS
Security Kit-D1 enables an administrator to configure security settings that
are required to comply with the IEEE 2600 standard.
IMPORTANT
•
The imagePRESS Security Kit-D1 for IEEE 2600 Common Criteria
Certification ships device firmware that complies with IEEE 2600.1
certification when installed to the imagePRESS Lite C170/C165
machines.
•
Once the imagePRESS Security Kit-D1 for IEEE 2600 Common
Criteria Certification is installed, imagePRESS Lite C170/C165
machines can only be upgraded with firmware versions certified for the
IEEE standard 2600. Upgrading to non-certified firmware invalidates
the IEEE standard 2600 certification, although the machine will
continue to operate properly.
Notes:
•
The imagePRESS Security Kit-D1 includes the IEEE 2600 License
Certificate, Bootable CD with certified system software, IEEE 2600
User Manual CD, Installation Manual and Mirroring Kit. The HDD Data
Encryption Kit and the Data Erase Kit are available as standard.
•
Cannot be configured with MEAP Web Connection Kit, Remote Fax
Kit-A1, imagePRESS Server M10/L30, IP FAX Expansion Kit-B1,
Copy Card Reader-F1, NFC KIT-A1/C1, Connection Kit for Bluetooth
LE, all imageWARE options and all MEAP applications.
