NOTE

When the top cover is opened, the interlock switch is activated, power to the sheet
inserter is cut off, and then the sheet inserter stops operating.

Open the right guide (I2).

Remove any paper that is on the upper tray.

Remove any paper jammed there.

Close the right guide (I2) and then close the top cover.
