The following types are set in accordance with the combination of parameters of Bit 0 and Bit1.

Select the scanning direction in which conversion of binary images is done when SW05-Bit 1 in #1 SSSW is set to "conversion of binary images from millimeter
to inch." In addition, when SW05-Bit 2 in #1 SSSW is set to "conversion of halftone images from millimeter to inch," this switch is also valid to halftone images.
If 'horizontal scanning only' is selected, conversion between millimeter and inch in the horizontal scanning is done.
If 'horizontal/vertical scanning' is selected, conversion between millimeter and inch both in the vertical and horizontal scanning is done.

Select whether to declare inch resolution to the other party during communication.
When 'Yes' is selected, the machine declares to the other party in any of DIS, DCS, or DTC signal that it conducts scanning and recording in inch resolution.
