In an outgoing G3 call, when an switching equipment exists which cannot receive unless a Progress
Indicator information element which includes an appropriate “progress description” is added to the
SETUP message, please set this bit to “1”.

element in the SETUP message can be chosen as “ Add ” or “ Don’t Add. ” The “progress description”
