Operation Panel Key Summary Table
When you come to a step where you must enter a number or name for data registration, refer to
the table below.

The search keys display the next or previous menu item.
Press [

] to display the next item in the menu. If you press [

] when the last item is
displayed, the display rotates to the first item in the menu.

item is displayed, the display rotates to the last item in the menu.
When registering names, press [

] to immediately position the cursor under the
first letter, and press [
▼
] to immediately position the cursor to the right of the last
letter.
OK
Press [OK] to select the current item.
Switches the entry modes.
:A The Upper Case Letter Entry mode. Enables you to enter upper case letters and
symbols.
:a The Lower Case Letter Entry mode. Enables you to enter lower case letters and
symbols.
:1 The Number Entry mode. Enables you to enter numbers.

More than one letter is assigned to a key. Press [ ] to enter the Text Entry mode,
then press the key containing the letter you want to enter. If the letter you want to
enter is not displayed first, press the key repeatedly until it appears. If the next letter
is under a different key, just press that key to enter the first letter of the group, and
press the key repeatedly until the letter you want appears.
If the next letter is under the same key, press [ ] to move the cursor to the right one
space, then press the key again to enter the first letter of the group. Press the key
repeatedly until the letter you want appears.
The cursor keys move the cursor to the left or right.

Press [#] to enter a symbol. You can enter symbols in the Text Entry mode only.
Press [#] repeatedly until the symbol you want appears. You can enter the following
symbols: - .

Space
Enters a space after the letter at the cursor position, or between numbers at the
cursor position. You may enter spaces in telephone numbers–they do not affect
dialing.
Delete
Deletes characters at the cursor position.
(Clear)
Clears the entire entry if you want to erase it and start again.
(Stop)
After you are finished making settings or registering information, press
(Stop) to
return to the Standby mode.
