4. Lamp-ON preconditions: Lights after shutter button is pressed
halfway and focus achieved with One-Shot AF or MF. (In AI Servo AF
mode, shutter release-priority takes effect even while the lamp is lit.)
5. Duration: Under the conditions stated in 4 above, the lamp lights
while the shutter button is pressed halfway and dims after 1.5 sec.
(With the self-timer, it lights for 2 sec. before shutter release.)
6. Lamp-ON indicator: The exposure level scale (bars) on the LCD panel
and in the viewfinder indicates lamp-on for 1.5 sec.
7. Shutter release lock: None (shutter-release priority).
* When an external Speedlite is used, the red-eye reduction lamp does
not light.

9-1 Type: Auto date using 7-segment LCD in the imprinting
element.
9-2 Date range: 1994.1.1 to 2019.12.31
* Automatic adjustment for leap years.
9-3 Imprinted modes: 1. Month, day, year

5. Blank
* Pressing the MODE button changes the imprinting mode in the
looping sequence above.
