SOLUTIONS TO COMMON PROBLEMS

Jams in the multi-purpose tray ________________

If paper jams in the multi-purpose tray, CLEAR PAPER JAM is displayed on the LCD. 

Follow the procedure below to clear the jam. 

You do not need to unplug the fax when clearing paper jams.

Gently pull any jammed paper out of the 
fax as shown.

Remove the paper stack from the multi-
purpose tray and reload it. (see p. 1-12)

Make sure the stack does not exceed the paper limit 
mark (

P

).
