• To install an extra firewall box of the preferred supplier of the customer. This box is then to
be configured with all relevant ports for ORS and normal printing opened towards the
Onyx RIP.
OR
• via a manual action to secure the Windows firewall on the customer Onyx RIP correctly so
relevant protocols for ORS and Onyx can pass the Windows firewall
Whichever of the 2 options is chosen, this requires the installation of a software proxy
component on the Onyx RIP, to allow the traversal of ORS traffic towards the Internet from
the Arizona printer. This is a manual procedure, and the software proxy is comprised by the
industry standard Squid proxy software (
"http://www.squid-cache.org/"
).

• Support for a proxy server.
• Connection to external RIP: via port 9100
• Web user interface via HTTP: via port 8080
• On Remote Service (ORS).

• TCP port 9100 (TCP RAW printing)
• TCP port 8080 (HTTP for Web User interface)
Outgoing connections :
• TCP port 443 (HTTPS for Océ Remote Services)

• remoteservices.oce.com (for Remote Service Data Connection)
• *.teamviewer.com (for Remote Assistance)

It is the customer's responsibility to procure and configure computer hardware which, at the
minimum, meets the software's basic computational and data handling needs. Please refer to the
