CAUTION!
Do not rest the tool on the ground or objects before the chain (2) stops. After releasing the control lever, the
chain continues spinning for a few moments.
CAUTION!
When the tool is moving, engage the bar cover (8) protecting the chain. These behaviours prevent accidental
damage to objects and/or persons and/or damage to the product.
4.3 Packing and handling
The unit is packaged by the manufacturer and shipped to the dealer in a box.
CAUTION!
The handling of loads must be carried out in compliance with the current safety rules in the workplace. Keep
the box to store the tool for medium or long periods or to ship it packaged to an Authorised Assistance Centre
for any repairs.
5 TOOL USE
5.1 Intended use of the product
Before starting operations with the tool, wear protective clothing and check that all the safety and protection systems
are working and mounted properly.
•
Grip the tool tightly with both hands, the right on the control handle (14) and the left on
the extension.
•
Get into a stable and safe position. Stand straight and keep the tool on the right side of
the body.
•
Start cutting only when the chain of the pruner has reached maximum speed.
•
Do not apply pressure on the chain of the pruner while cutting, let it work. To achieve
the best cutting results, it is vital to make sure that the chain speed does not decrease
due to overloads.
•
Pay attention when the chain has completed the cut, the pruner will suddenly
change its weight. A risk of injuries to the legs and feet is present.
•
Hold the device obliquely and do not exceed a 60° angle with respect to the horizontal
plane.
•
It is recommended to cut the lower branches first in order to facilitate the fall of cut
branches.
CAUTION!
Never stop under a branch being cut and evaluate the falling space of the cut branches. The branches that fall
to the ground may bounce and cause injuries.
CAUTION!
Pay attention to the falling branch. Keep the work area clear, by removing fallen twigs and branches.
Before cutting the branches, determine the escape path and remove obstacles.
CAUTION!
Danger of deadly injury due to electrocution.
This device is not insulated. Respect a distance of
at least 15 m from a live conductor.
Dangers of injury due to falling branches and projected pieces of wood!
No other persons
must stand in a 15 m radius
Danger of material damage.
Also keep this distance from objects (vehicles, glass windows)
CAUTION!
Never perform cutting operations while holding the tool with one hand
CAUTION!

Only activate the tool when it is inserted between the branches. An improper use causes greater wear of the tool.
