First open the buckle as shown in the
figure.

move the straps to the side (Fig. 31a)
and place your child on the seat (Fig. 31b).

Fasten the buckle as shown in the
figure until a click is heard.

check that the five harness straps are
placed correctly on your child and then
pull the central cord of the regulator hard
(Fig. 33a).
Note:
the child
’s harness must
be taut and fit closely to the body; if your
child is wearing bulky clothes, it is
advisable to remove them so that the
harness is tauter for greater SaFety.
REMOVING THE 5-POINT HARNESS

to transform the child safety seat for
use in groups ii and iii, the 5-point harness
must be removed first as shown in the
figure.

then the two optional inserts must be
removed. note: the inserts can also be
removed for use in group 1, following the
instructions in Fig. 34, if your child is of a
size not to need them. the inserts can be
fitted again by repeating the operation in
reverse.
36. FITTING AND USE group II and III
(art.162 and 163)

follow the sequence in
Fig. 36, place the headrest at the required
height so that the diagonal belt D is just
slightly higher than your child
’s shoulder,
as shown in Fig. 36a. then tighten the
belts well so that they fit perfectly to your
child
’s body. if the child safety seat is fitted
using only the car safety belts (Fig.36b), it
belongs to the universal category, if it is
fitted using the car seat belts and
connectors, it is classified as semi-
universal.
NOTE:
do not fit the top-tether
(Fig. 36-c).

the cover can
be hand washed in warm water (max. 30°)
using neutral washing powder. Do not
spin dry! Do not iron! Do not use solvents!
