• In the event of injury caused by oil escaping under pressure, immediately seek medical
assistance.
6.2.
Operating instructions
Please see chapter 7 for the daily maintenance schedule.
Perform the daily maintenance check before each use as described in chapter ‘7.3. Maintenance
instructions’.
• The lift truck with attachment installed needs to be approved for use prior to
commissioning.
• Be sure to obtain the lift truck manufacturer’s certification concerning the residual capacity
of the lift truck, after installing the attachment.
1. Load lifting
Before starting
First, use the hydraulic levers to check which levers operate which function.
Use all the functions several times with no load to check if they function normally and smoothly.
Before lifting a load, operate the hydraulic scoop several times in order to remove air from the circuit.
See chapter ‘5.3.1 Bleed the hydraulic circuit’.
Load handling
• Do not drive forwards/backwards if the scoop is tilted forward in its
lowest position.
Doing so will cause damage to the blade and cylinder.
• Do not lift the load higher than recommended.
• When loading the scoop, drive it horizontally into the material. Do not
turn the vehicle while loading the scoop, this can cause damage to
the scoop and the hydraulic system.
1. Make sure you put the scoop in its horizontal position when loading.
2. Before lifting the load up, make sure the load is secured safely.
3. Lift the load slightly up to make sure the attachment is secured. If not,
lower and reposition to provide full stability.
4. To ensure optimal stability, place the scoop in its lowest position and tilt it
backwards during transport.
5. Keep the hydraulic scoop centred and horizontal, gradually accelerate
and brake.
Slow down before turning and riding on rough terrains.
