Getting Started
CONNECTING THE LAPTOP TO THE CORE
The support laptop provides access to
software applications and diagnostic
tools for interacting with the Summa
system and the wider Hydra2 network.
The laptop has one gigabit ethernet
port which should be connected to the
‘Surface 2’ (MAC 6 on some models)
connection on the primary control
processor which is located in the Summa
Core.
A USB to Ethernet adapter is provided for
all other networking needs.
