The intervention of the amperometric
protection causes the arrest of the motor
and the switching on of the thermal
protection LED. To reset the function,
press the RESET button.
For the calibration of the protection
current, the pumps must be installed
and immersed in water.
If the motor current is less than 10%
of the set value, the protection is
activated and the motor stops (no
water,
float
switch
failure,
disconnected motor cable, broken
impeller, etc.).
To set the amperometric protection, the control
panel must be open and electrically fed.
ATTENTION.
Control panel open and
electrically fed. Operate only on the
trimmer to adjust the current.
Setting the protection current of pump 1.
Reference: P1 potentiometer on the base circuit
board and the red P1 LED on the DR 2000
electronic card on the rear of the control panel
door.
Switch on pump 1 and check the red P1 LED.
If the LED is off, slowly rotate the P1 trimmer in an
anticlockwise direction until the LED starts
flashing.
The flashing LED indicates that the amperometric
protection has been activated.
Slightly rotate the trimmer in a clockwise direction
until the LED switches off.
Slightly rotate the trimmer again to leave a safety
margin before the protection intervenes.
Setting the protection current of pump 2
Repeat the same operation for setting pump 1.
