Isopropyl alcohol is harmful if it is inhaled, ingested or comes into contact with the
eyes or skin. Use it only in a well-ventilated area. If exposure occurs, immediately
call emergency medical services, followed by your local poison control center. For
external exposure (eyes or skin), immediately flush the exposed area with large
amounts of clean water for a minimum of 15 minutes.
2.4.2
Leakage and Spill Disposal
In the event of a leak or spill, remove all sources of ignition and ventilate the affected area.
Clean-up personnel require protective clothing and respiratory protection from vapors. Dispose
of contaminated clean-up materials only at an approved facility in accordance with local
requirements for hazardous waste.
