Configuring Local PC

Verify network settings on local PC are set to automatically detect IP and DNS server. The
path to network settings varies with the version of Windows you are using.
Windows XP: Start-> Control Panel -> Network Connections
Windows 2000: Start -> Settings -> Network and dial up connections

Select the appropriate network connection, typically the Local Area Connection -> right click
on the connection and select “Properties”

Select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties.

Verify that “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS Server address
automatically” are selected.
