The CAT has no in-built wifi as we feel this can be detrimental to the sound quality. The
CAT
must join your local area network (LAN) via Ethernet Cable which will enable internet,
wifi and remote control via an iPad or Android tablet.

File compatibility:
WAV or lossless FLAC are what CAD strongly recommends. The CAT is preconfigured to
import CDs to WAV format.
The following formats are compatible with the CAT:

FLAC (flac) - (CAD Recommends Lossless FLAC)

WAV Audio (wav) - (CAD Recommends)

DSD over PCM (DoP)
The CAD CAT and 1543 DAC system as set up from the factory will playback any of the
above at
any sample rate and any bit depth.
