The type of tap provided with the transceiver body defines one of four
models of the ST-500 transceiver. The four models are:

- transceiver body only (no tap included)

- with non-intrusive (stinger style) Ethernet tap

ST-500-02
- with N-Series (intrusive) Ethernet tap
