Master Address Table.
This screen contains MAC addresses of all the ports known to the switch. The table
can contain up to 10,000 entries memory. See a detailed description of MAC
addresses on page 77.
Locate MAC Address
Identifies the location on which a MAC address is seen as source.
Address
MAC address of a node.
Type
The Type column of the Master Address Table screen can contain the following
types:
•
Switch Base Address
— The burned-in or configured MAC Address of the switch box.
— Present on all ports.
