Port Configuration file in Incorrect form, System may not Boot Cor-
rectly
Meaning: There is an incompatibility in the database, most
likely due to incorrect migration to a new release of
FRX4000 software.
Action: Make the necessary changes to the old database to
assure that it does not contain parameters that are
invalid in the new release, then reinstall the new
FRX4000 software via file transfer (
[B], [A], [B]
from the Main Menu—described in the User Guide)
from a remote FRX4000 or FRX6000.
PVC Configuration file Read Error, System may not Boot Correctly
Meaning: There is an incompatibility in the database, most
likely due to incorrect migration to a new release of
FRX4000 software.
Action: Make the necessary changes to the old database to
assure that it does not contain parameters that are
invalid in the new release, then reinstall the new
FRX4000 software via file transfer (

Read Error - RSNSVC file Rlen “n” siz “n”
Meaning: The remote SNA subscriber file (RSNSVC.DAT) in
the old database contained subscriber IDs longer
than what is supported in the current release (15
digits), and the file was deleted.
Action: Configure new remote SNA subscriber records, as
described in the User Guide.
Remote Connection Clearing Error (Remote Control ID)
Meaning: An abort was attempted from a different ID (the one
in the message) than that used to take remote
control.
Action: The abort must be initiated from the same ID that
was used to initiate remote control.
