STATISTICS
Statistics can be gathered for the F60XX network adapter models
either from your Macintosh, or from another workstation utilizing
Cabletron Systems’
Remote LANVIEW
®
/Windows
,
Remote
LANVIEW for SunNet Manager
®
,
or
SPECTRUM
®
. Through this
software, you can gather statistics on the adapter’s activity on the
network. For further information on gathering network adapter
statistics from another workstation, refer to the appropriate
network management manual.
The network adapter’s A/UX driver software also includes a
statistics utility. See Appendix A,
A/UX Driver and Utilities

LANVIEW
®
LEDs
The F60XX series of network adapters incorporate Cabletron’s
LANVIEW
®
LEDs. The LEDs help you diagnose problems, such as
a failure to establish a link between the adapter and an active
device at the other end of the network link. Individual LEDs are
provided to advise you when the adapter is connected correctly to
the network link, and when an on-board processor error occurs on
the network adapter.
