Expansion Modules
The following expansion modules can be installed in the SSR 2000:
• 10/100BASE-TX
• 100BASE-FX
• 1000BASE-SX
• 1000BASE-LX
• Dual Serial (WAN)
• Quad Serial – C (WAN)
• Quad Serial – CE (WAN)
10/100BASE-TX Expansion Module
The 10/100BASE-TX expansion module contains eight independent Ethernet ports. Each
port senses whether it is connected to a 10-Mbps segment or a 100-Mbps segment and
automatically configures itself as a 10Base-T or 100Base-TX port.
Figure 2 shows the front
panel of the 10/100BASE-TX expansion module.
