SAVING A PROGRAM
There are two functions for saving a program to memory; SAVE INTERNAL, and SAVE
CARTRIDGE. These functions are used to copy the program from the working memory to one
of the internal memory or cartridge memory locations. A complete Save procedure is provided
below. To save a program, proceed as follows:
NOTE
Turn power off (Power ON/OFF switch on rear
panel) before removing or inserting a Program
Cartridge.
1.
Engage ENABLE jack on the rear panel.
2.
Press the Up or Down arrow to step through the menu to display either SAVE
INTERNAL or SAVE CARTRIDGE.
3.
Press MENU RUN to initiate the mode. If there is sufficient memory to save the
program, the display will show:
Are You Sure?
4.
Press MENU RUN again to save the program. After the program has been saved,
the display will show:
Saved
(signature #)
5.
If you decide not to save the program, press RESET instead of MENU RUN.
6.
If there is insufficient memory to save the program, the display will show:
MEMORY
FULL
7.
If the program is to be saved to cartridge, and the cartridge is indicated as full, turn
off power and replace the cartridge with one that has free memory, or follow the
Deleting a Program procedure to free-up memory, and then rerun the SAVE
procedure.
8.
If the program was saved to cartridge, update the cartridge label.
