The device is easy and practical to use. The device is small, lightweight and
easy to carry around.
The device has low energy consumption and the two AAA batteries have a
life of 30 hours of continuous use.
When the battery charge is so low that it may affect normal functioning of
the pulse oximeter, a warning is shown on the display.
The device automatically turns off when it does not receive any signals for
more than 8 seconds.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
The Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is a handheld non-invasive device intended for
spot-checking of oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) and Pulse
Rate of adult, adolescent and child patients at home (HOME-CARE) or in
hospital (including clinical use in surgery, anaesthesia, intensive care, etc.).
The device is not intended for continuous monitoring.
The pulse oximeter does not require any routine calibration or other
maintenance operations apart from replacing the batteries. The device is not
intended for use during patient transport outside the health facility.

Operation of the fingertip pulse oximeter may be affected by the use of an
electrosurgical unit (ESU).
Do not use the pulse oximeter when the patient is undergoing MRI and CT
analysis.
Do not use the fingertip pulse oximeter in situations where alarms are
required. The device has no alarms. It is not for continuous monitoring.
The fingertip pulse oximeter is intended only as an adjunct in patient
assessment. It must be used in conjunction with other methods of assessing
clinical signs and symptoms.
Frequently check that the pulse oximeter sensor is positioned correctly in
relation to the circulation and sensitivity of the patient’s skin
Prolonged use or the patient’s conditions might require periodically
changing the position of the sensor. Change the position of the sensor and
check the integrity of the skin, the circulation and proper alignment at least
every 4 hours.
Autoclave sterilization processes, ethylene oxide sterilization, or immersing the
sensor in liquid substances may cause inaccurate measurements or damages.
Never immerse the device in water.
Do not use the device in places where there are anesthetic mixtures
flammable in contact with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.
