Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of a C-Dax XC3 Console. We are confident that your control unit will perform
for many years as long as sensible equipment maintenance/operational practices are followed. We have
endeavoured to make the unit as robust and functional as possible, but please remember that like any piece of
precision electronic equipment, its performance parameters need to be respected.
The XC3 Console
The console should be mounted in a convenient, safe, central position on the front of the ATV/RTV or in the cab
of a tractor. LINE UP THE GPS ANTENNA ON THE CONSOLE WITH THE CENTER OF YOUR ATV/RTV or
TRACTOR CAB.
Power supply is via the power cable to the vehicles 12v battery and by a wireless connection to the implement
that is being controlled. The console should be mounted with the best line of sight between the console and the
implement which the console is connecting to. Care should also be taken when mounting the console to ensure
the greatest protection from the ingress of water. The XC3 console is a sophisticated piece of electronics, C-Dax
recommend keeping the XC3 console dry. If the XC3 is exposed to moisture then remove the battery and store
the console in a warm dry place.
