Once a connection has been established and a GPS fix has been acquired, the 

Spread

 button will appear on the 

bottom left hand side of the screen. 
 

 

 
When you are ready to begin spreading simply press the green 

Start/Stop

 button. The unit will begin spreading 

when  the  speed  is  5km/hr  or  greater  and  automatically  switch  off  when  the  speed  is  lower  than  this.  When 
finished spreading, simply press the 

Start/Stop

 button once again to switch the spreader off. 

 
If  the  green 

Start/Stop

  button  is  not  visible  and  there  is  no  satellite  symbol  displayed  in  the  bottom  left  hand 

corner of the screen then you must wait while the console acquires a valid GPS signal. 
 
  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 

C-Dax SmartStop 

 

When enabled, C-Dax 

SmartStop

 will automatically switch flow off. For example, with 

smart stop enabled, the user need only press the 

Start/Stop

 button once to begin 

spreading. If the user crosses over the centre of an area which has already been 

spread the spreader will automatically stop spreading. Likewise, as soon as the unit is 

no longer overlapping, the unit will automatically resume spreading. 

At any time the 

unit can stop spreading

 

simply by pressing the Start/Stop button in the bottom 

right hand corner of the XC3 console. 

 

To enable smart stop press the settings button then tick the check box for 

smart stop
