11 Maintenance
The BWT after-sales service staff or an installer authorised by BWT must
carry out the following maintenance work regularly.
We recommend that you enter into a maintenance agreement with your
fitter or our after-sales service department.
●
Check the connection line and the housing for damage.
●
Check the wiring.
●
Check the PE conductor connections.
●
Measure the current consumption of the entire unit.
●
Measure the voltage.
●
Check the air lines and hoses for leaks and deposits.
11.1 Cleaning intervals
The cleaning interval for the emitter casing tube depends on the water
quality of the circulation water. Elevated concentrations of water hardness
(calcium and magnesium), corrosion products (iron, zinc, etc.), or organic
or cloudy substances may increase the amount of cleaning required.

11.3 Operating state indicator
After one year or once the 9000 hours programmed in the digital running
time meter pass, the visual operating state indicator (illuminated b) on
the product cover changes from blue to red.
This indicates that maintenance and/or the replacement of wear parts
is required.
The digital running time meter must be reset once the maintenance work
is performed (see chapter “8.1 Digital running time meter”, page 28).
The operating state indicator (illuminated b) then changes back to the
colour blue.
