6. When the engine is running, the speed can be adjusted by moving the
throttle control lever (Pic. 17) (17.1) to the high (indicated by a hare),
medium or low position (indicated by a tortoise).
6.3.3. STOPPING THE ENGINE
Note: If the machine starts to make an unusual noise, stop the machine
immediately, allow the engine to cool and inspect thoroughly.
1. To stop the engine, turn the engine ‘ON/OFF’ switch to the ‘OFF’ position,
as in Pic. 18 (18.1).
2. When the engine has stopped completely, turn the fuel lever to the ‘OFF’
position as well, as shown in Pic. 19 (19.1).
