Field of Application/Mode of Operation
The electronic room thermostats with time control,1080 U/
1080 UF, are used to control the temperature in individual
rooms. Both electric and hot-water heating systems can be
connected. In the case of the latter, servo-valves (closed
when de-energized) are to be used. The device consists of
the
control module for setting the desired room tempera-
ture according to a time program and an integral
tempera-
ture sensor which measures this and transmits the meas-
ured valued to the control module.
In the case of thermostat 1080 UF, the temperature sensor
is not in the device, but is connected to the device as an
external, remote sensor and measures the temperature in
the floor.
The integral
digital clock allows switching twice per day
from high to low temperature, i.e., the starting times for up
to two high and two low-temperature periods can be set.
In addition, the working days (Mon. to Fri.) and the non-
working days (Sat. – Sun.) can be changed and set.
