n Beachten Sie Ihre Verpflichtungen gemäß
MPBetreibV, um den dauerhaft sicheren Betrieb
dieses Medizinproduktes ohne Gefährdungen
für Patienten, Anwender und dritte sicherzustel-
len.
n weisen Sie jeden Anwender anhand dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung, die zusammen mit dem
Pflegebett überreicht werden muss, vor der er-
sten Inbetriebnahme in die sichere Bedienung
des Pflegebettes ein.
n weisen Sie die Anwender, gemäß MPBe-
treibV § 9, auf den Aufbewahrungsort dieser Ge-
brauchsanweisung hin.
n Machen Sie jeden Anwender auf eventuelle
Gefährdungen bei nicht sachgerechter Verwen-
dung aufmerksam. dies betrifft besonders den
Umgang mit den elektrischen Antrieben und den
Seitengittern.
n Lassen Sie dieses Pflegebett nur durch ein-
gewiesene Personen bedienen.
n Stellen Sie sicher, dass auch Vertretungsper-
sonal hinreichend in die Bedienung des Pflege-
bettes eingewiesen ist.
n Führen Sie bei Langzeiteinsatz des Pflege-
bettes nach angemessenem Zeitraum (Empfeh-
lung: jährlich) eine Kontrolle auf Funktion und
sichtbare Beschädigungen durch (siehe Kapi-
tel 6).
n Schließen Sie das Bett direkt an eine Steck-
dose an. Verlängerungskabel und/oder Mehr-
fachsteckdosen sollten nicht verwendet werden.
n Stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass beim Anbringen
weiterer Geräte (z. B. Kompressoren von Luft-
Lagerungssystemen usw.) eine sichere Befesti-
gung und Funktion aller Geräte gegeben ist.
n Legen Sie keine Mehrfachsteckdosen unter
das Pflegebett. Es besteht Brandgefahr durch
eindringende Flüssigkeit.
n Beachten Sie besonders:
Sichere Verlegung aller beweglichen Anschluss-
kabel, Schläuche usw.

Bei Unklarheiten wenden Sie sich an die Her-
steller der Zusatzgeräte oder an BURMEIER.
n Vergewissern Sie sich, ob Ihr Personal die
Sicherheitshinweise einhält.

NSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATORS
n Remember your responsibilities in accor-
dance with the MPBetreibV in order to ensure
the safe operation of this unit without endange-
ring patients, users and third parties.
n Before first use, instruct every user in the
safe operation of the nursing bed in accordance
with these safety instructions, which must be
supplied along with the unit.
n According to MPBetreibV 9 the user shall be
notified of the location of this instruction manual.
n Call attention to the dangers of improper use
of the unit, especially in regards to the electrical
drives and side rails.
n The unit should only be operated by properly
trained personnel.
n Make sure that representatives are also
familiar with the operation of the nursing bed.
n during long term use it is recommended that
the nursing bed be inspected for function and
visible damage at regular intervals (Recommen-
dation: yearly) (see chapter 6).
n Connect the bed directly to an electrical out-
let. do not use extension cords and/or multiple
outlet extension cords.
n when attaching other equipment (e.g. com-
pressors for positioning systems) make sure
that they are mounted and can function in a
secure and safe manner.
n do not put multiple outlet electrical extensi-
ons under the nursing bed. Leaking liquids can
cause a fire hazard.
n Pay special attention to:
Securely locating of all wiring, cables, tubes,
etc.
