BPS (continued)

 Empty canister and also allow any grain 
which may have accumulated in BPS to 
run out.

Refer to unplugging instructions under 
OPERATION on page 17.

Shear Pin

A shear pin is provided in the PTO shaft to 
protect the drive system during an overload.

Changing the Shear Pin

1. 

 Place all controls in neutral, stop engine, 
set park brake, remove ignition key and 
wait for all moving parts to stop before 

 

dismounting.

2. 

 Disconnect the PTO shaft from the tractor 
and lay to the side to provide maximum 
clearance for the shear bolt.

3. 

 Carefully remove remaining shear bolt 
using a hammer and punch if necessary. 
Do not enlarge the holes.

4. 

Install the new shear bolt and tighten.

IMPORTANT

These shear bolts are specially designed to provide 
protection for the drive system. Do not install just any bolt, 
use genuine OEM parts.

Remove BPS lid and take out Screen
