Seal the pressure testing nozzle for the combustion
chamber pressure.
Recommissioning after cleaning with brushes
When the boiler is recommissioned after cleaning with
brushes, proceed as follows:
V
Plug burner cable connector into burner.
V
With balanced flue operation, attach combustion air
hose to the burner.
V
Prepare the heating system for operation.

Wet cleaning (chemical cleaning)
When wet cleaning, use a Buderus approved cleaning
agent appropriate for the degree of soiling (soot or scale).
Follow the same sequence as described in Chapter 8.2,
page 39 and Chapter 8.3, page 40.

Cover the programming unit with foil to prevent spray
getting into the programming unit.
V
Spray cleaning agent evenly into the heat exchanger
heater flues.
V
Close burner door and start up the heating system.
V
Heat the boiler to a temperature of at least 160 °F.
V
Shut down the heating system.
V
Brush out the heat exchanger heater flues.
V
Start up the heating system again (see above).
Observe the instructions for use of the clean-
ing agent. You may need to proceed differ-
ently from the method described here in
some circumstances.

Risk of damage from corrosion and
short-circuit.

When wet cleaning protect electrical
components including the flue gas safety
limiter (STB) from moisture and
chemicals.
