On the Remote control Rotavapor screen you
can define the following remote control para-
meters:
•
Rotation start On/Off
: Automatic rotation
start of flask when controller is started
•
Rotation stop On/Off
: Automatic rotation
stop of flask when controller is stopped
•
Immerse flask On/Off
: Automatic lowering
of the flask into the heating bath when
controller is started
•
Emerge flask On/Off
: Automatic raising
of the flask from the heating bath when
controller is stopped
The following parameters are only available for
the Rotavapors R-220 SE and R-250:
•
Heating start On/Off
: Automatic start-up
of the heating bath when the START button
is pressed
•
Heating stop On/Off
: Automatic switch
off of the heating bath when the process is
finished or the STOP button is pressed
If an AutoDest probe is installed, you can define
several parameters for auto distillation on the
AutoDest parameter screen:
•
Low boiling det .
: Warm-up time for evapo-
rating flask. The default value is 20 s. For
sample volumes of more than 2 l, we recom-
mend to increase the value by about 10 s.
•
Aspiration time
: Time interval after which
a new pressure setpoint has to be reached
(the pressure setpoints are predefined within
the system). This value must be adapted
according to the pump performance. The
default value is 5 s. We recommend to
increase the value for pumps with a low aspi-
ration capacity, i.e. water jet pumps, or when
the error message “Because of a leak the
distillation process was cancelled” appears.
