B/ TP treatment
Without moving the head, change the PPR to 1:2, maintaining the original intensity and using either a semi-
stationary or a stationary method to apply the combined therapy directly to the TP for 1 - 3 minutes. There must
be no standing waving - acoustic and optical indication.
All parameters of the electric component, only if there is a lowered intensity (the patient stops perceiving the
current), increase it and maintain it at a threshold sensitive.
C/ Therapy effect control
Set identical parameters as in A including the current intensity and move the head as in A. If the therapy is
successful the original TP will no longer exist.
Otherwise, repeat the B procedure.
If a palpably or clinically diagnosed trigger cannot be detected by the method described in A, repeat the whole
procedure with the ultrasound intensity increasing by 0.1 W/cm
2
, ceteris paribus.
