5 OTHERS SERVICES
The PABX exchange can command the switching on and off of electrical devices by typing the codes on
the extension keypad. If the PABX is suitably programmed the devices can also be switched on and off
from an outside telephone making a call to the telephone line to which the PABX is connected.
This function has various applications, e.g. the holiday home heating can be switched on or off using the
mobile phone.
