2. Controls And Locations
Control Description
1 ESC/BACKUP
Exits the menu screen and the various functions.
Accesses the backup menu.
2 SEARCH
Accesses the search screen menu. Use the up/down keys to move
around the menu.
Press 17 (ENTER) to access the required item.
3 PIP
Enables “picture in picture” format. Use the up and down keys to
move around.
Press 17 ( ) to access the required item.
4 ZOOM
Enables or disables the zoom function.
Press 17 (ENTER) to change channel.
5 AUTO Enables sequential mode, as defined in the SPOT Setup.
6 REC INDICATOR Recording indicator.
7 POWER INDICATOR Indicates that the recorder is on.
8 USB 2.0
The USB 2.0 port can be used to connect a USB mouse or a USB
storage device.
9 REC Starts/stops a recording.
10 PLAY Starts playback.

MENU/PAUSE ( ) Accesses menu mode Use the up and down keys to move around
the menu screen.
Pauses playback.
12 IR SENSOR IR sensor for signals from the remote control.

RIGHT DIR. KEY/FAST FORWARD ( ) Right direction key.
Fast forward, speed: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x.

UP DIR. KEY/SLOW FORWARD

Up direction key.
Slow forward, speed: 1/2x, 1/4x, 1/8x, 1/16x and frame by frame.

DOWN DIR. KEY/STOP

Down direction key.
Stops playback.

LEFT DIR. KEY/FAST REWIND ( )
Left direction key.
Fast rewind, speed: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x.

ENTER/MODE ( )
Switches between full screen mode or division of the screen into 4
(quad screen).
Confirms a selection.
