To see BT Broadband Talk call charges: visit
www.bt.com/broadbandtalk
and go to the
‘what it costs’ section.
You can make outgoing calls using your standard phone line
number by dialling 5 and then the number you want to call.
After dialling 5 you must wait for a different dial tone to the
one you normally use with BT Broadband Talk before dialling
a number. Remember if you do this you won’t be taking
advantage of BT Broadband Talk rate.
How do I know BT Broadband Talk is set up on my Hub?
The ‘Phone’ icon on the front of your hub will be lit up, a solid
green colour and you will hear a higher pitched dial tone than
normal dial tone. If the service is down or not activated, all calls
will be made using your landline number. You will not be able to
receive calls to your BT Broadband Talk number on the hub
handset until BT Broadband Talk is active on the hub. Go to
www.bt.com/bbv
and follow the on screen instructions. You will
need your BT Broadband Talk number and password handy.
