The Homepoint Plus logo (shown below) on
your Freestyle 1500 Plus means that you can
buy and use up to three extra handsets
displaying the same logo to extend your phone
system whenever you want, without needing to
install extension sockets at each location.
Each additional handset is supplied with its
own charger and user instructions, however
the following information will tell you how to
register and use an additional handset with
your Freestyle 1500 Plus.
You will not be able to make or receive
calls using additional handsets until
they have been registered using your
Freestyle 1500 Plus base unit.

Registering your Plus handset
You must register each additional handset
before it can be used with your Freestyle 1500
Plus. Make sure that each additional handset is
registered with a different number so it can be
identified from other handsets.
To register an additional Plus handset
At the handset
•
Lift the additional handset to be registered.
•
Press and release the
MEMORY
button, the
handset will beep immediately.
•
Press and hold the
SECRECY
button until
the handset beeps again.
•
Enter the additional handset number (2, 3
or 4) using the handset keypad. The handset
will beep.

Additional handsets should be registered within
30cm of your Freestyle 1500 Plus base unit.
Answering machine functions and menus are
only available if the primary handset remains
registered as handset 1.

product. If buying additional handsets for
your Freestyle 1500 Plus, please ensure you
purchase the correct type.
