General

Only use the power supply included with the product.
Using an unauthorised power supply will invalidate your
guarantee and may damage the telephone. The item
number for the single base is 872260. The item number
for the Tandem base is 006858.

For the handset use only approved Nickel Metal 
Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries. Never use
other batteries or conventional alkaline batteries. They
could lead to a short circuit or destroy the battery
casing. Recommended batteries should have a power
rating of 550mAh 1.2V. Batteries are available from the
BT Freelance XA 100 Helpline

Do not open the handset or base. This could expose you
to high voltages or other risks. Contact the helpline for
all repairs.

Radio signals transmitted between the handset and base
may cause interference to hearing aids.

It is recommended that advice from a qualified expert
