Using your BT Defender 100
BT Defender 100 – Edition 2 – 03.02.04 – 5655
Indicator light
When first switched on:
Solid Red = The noise dose monitoring is not active.
To activate noise dose monitoring please refer to point 2 in
Setting up, page 5.
Flashing Red = fault, do not use. Call the Helpline.
During normal use
Flashing Green = secrecy on
Turning Green to Red = noise monitor. When the light is solid
red, it is recommended that the agent has an appropriate
break from taking calls.
This will start your noise dose
monitoring without the need to
connect to a computer or
alternatively visit the website
www.bt.com/defender
for
instructions on how to download the
software and set the date and time.
If there is a power failure, the
BT Defender 100 will display a solid
RED. This is to inform the user that
noise dose monitoring needs to be
reactivated.
